SPERM-DONATING

Take my following observations with a teaspoon of salt, since I am going off of admittedly limited knowledge of such things. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

1. The odds of such things occurring in the first place are extremely small. I wouldn't put it past the realm of pure chance or fate that it may have happened a handful of times, but out of the thousands (if not millions) of people who exist as a result of sperm donation, this makes it statistically insignificant.

2. Even if such a scenario were to occur, the chances of the resulting offspring suffering from an inherited genetic disorder are also statistically small. They likely have a greater chance of suffering from some other disease or malady not related (no pun intended) to genetics.

3. Incest is an entirely different conversation in and of itself. There have been instances where long-lost siblings/relatives have become romantically involved, oblivious to their shared heritage. What transpires after their discovery is entirely up to their religion, local laws, culture, and personal values.
