South Carolina
Well, it was such a long time ago that I went, I can hardly remember flight details. I know it sucked, and I know I was tired. We had to leave the house at 4-something am. I said goodbye to Nick who was to be our housesitter (just as I did for his family when they went to Rome).
We flew, and of course someone had to pile on the perfume. Mom and I mentioned it to eachother and this woman kept looking over...so we figured it was her.
I think I'm just going to go over some of the more major points and skip lil details for now...
South Carolina in August is awesome, but sticky. Soo humid. I don't mind it when I'm not doing anything and sitting still. At night, in my sister's (Jasmin's) backyard, it sounds like a jungle! All the loud secadas buzzing, other bugs hissing and buzzing too, I'm sure. Then there were these birds(?) that sounded like monkeys screeching. It was awesome.
Little Tristan's personality is developing more and more. It's so weird to see her talking so much. She's hilarious - but too strong for her size! My God she can cause pain. She would occasionally yell "Pee-pee all the time!" Then start laughing. She would say "Quack quack" and eventually I started saying that to her randomly. When I did that in the car once she yelled "You quackers! (Then she pointed to me, my sis, and my mom saying) You a quacker, you a quacker, you a quacker - and me a quacker!!!!" We all started cracking up. At first Jasmin thought she was saying 'cracker'. Hahaha
Ohh man...I don't think I can write much more about this right now...I'll update more maybe tomorrow.
