Hmmm, so how 'bout this livejournal I haven't used in a month?
The month of come-what-May, to quote one of my favourite bands...
A lot has come and gone in that time period, a lot has changed, and a lot has stayed the same.
I've applied to McGill, and ordered to have my transcripts sent... they'll receive them in the next couple weeks, and I should find out whether I make it in or not in the next month or so... fingers crossed! If not, it'll hopefully be Concordia for the winter semester.
Either way, I'm hoping to be moving there in September. I think I might go mad if I don't.
In other news, I'm hoping to get a second evening job... maybe at Sears, as I hear they're hiring. My hours at the Cup have been decreasing and I'm only getting around 25 next week... I'm supposed to be working "full-time" (or as close to as possible). If I want to save up money to move away, I'm going to need around 40 a week.
I'm going to finally get my full G-license this summer, goddamnit.
And I'm going to finally fly a plane, probably in the next few weeks :D
And get my tattoo, and do something more fun with my hair next week.
And clean out and reorganize and re-evaluate and restock, and maybe
Lots of goals to achieve, which is fun :)
This weekend = Cheryl's birthday, thus partying downtown shall ensue!
Next weekend = Potential roadtrip to The Guvernment/Kool Haus in TO, to see an awesome show by Steve Lawler... inquire within!
Weekend after = Jen's birthday, thus hardcore partying downtown since she'll finally be legal!
All of that, plus my dad's supposed to probably come visit, sometime around now, ish, maybe... note excessive lack of non-commital terms.
Hmmm.. I really want to go dancing. There's a new club opening downtown soon... "Heaven". Hah.. but it actually sounds like it could be neat, almost afterhours-style. Anyone want to come party - on the road trip or otherwise??
Also, nefarious... I like that word. It makes me think of some kind of black fuzzy, scruffy little animal, which is odd, because the definition according to Merriam-Webster is "flagrantly wicked or impious :
EVIL".
'Tis all.
