Holidays are here!
Ok, so I just had a power surge and lost the entire entry... but we'll see what I can do to recreate it :P
Well, I just got home from the annual Christmas potluck slash Secret Santa gift exchange with the Saucy Ladies, and it was absolutely fabulous!
We all ended up having each other for Secret Santa though - Becky and I had each other, and same for the other girls... Funny how that worked out - it's never happened before! Especially since some elements of mine and Becky's gifts were identical!
It was a fantastic night though - the mood was festive, Court's house was beautifully decorated, the gifts were lovely, and the food was delicious! We had the fireplace going and put on a Christmas movie, but nobody was really paying attention to it; we were just chatting, relaxing, and enjoying each others' company. It was perfect :D
I'm in such a great mood tonight! Everything just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. (And no, I haven't been drinking.)
I'm just so happy to have been blessed with such amazing friends, such a fabulous family, and to be surrounded with such a great amount of love and friendship and warmth and openness. I'm really feeling it. Everything is on a very positive kick for me right now, and I'm relishing every second of it!
It sounds funny, but it really is as if I'm on a natural high!
Man, I love when life gets you up like this!
Of course it helps that I'm finally done exams, the one grade I know so far is great, I'm done my holiday shopping and Christmas is fast approaching, as is New Years :D So many things to look forward to in the next little while, I can hardly contain myself!
I'm so glad, and I feel so fortunate!
I'm going to bed; I have to work in approximately 4 hours...!
