Part 2
Today dear friend, we sat together like we always have. Time has passed and our situations have improved. Dearest friend, did you know that when I saw you, I felt warmer than the sun outside which was waiting for us? Sure, all the winds were there to stirr and dishevel, but in the end we succeeded, didn't we?
As I looked down at my cup, I saw a red holed table so familiar, I saw our bits and pieces layed out, I saw your cup and saucer, I saw your hand. I watched us lay out our problems and put them on the red holed table. We confided, we laughed, we gossiped. I watched as you poured your sugar, measuing it with a teaspoon. I laughed and and complained as I poured my own in the usual way. I am so happy for today.
Today we had a usual day, today is slowly coming to an end, today will be remembered by both you and I, dearest friend.
