I had a wonderful day today. Even though I spent it by myself, being my own company wasn't so bad. After work I went to the Griffith Conservatory, something I've been meaning to do. What's nice is that I'm starting to take more photos, only because of the sheer enjoyment I receive when fixing them on Aperture. Los Angeles has won me over. I do like it here a lot.

There have been a few things that I've waited in hour long lines for here in LA that has proved worth it:

>Pink's Hot Dogs
>Panel discussion with Diego Luna & Ambulante
>Hammer talk with Michel Gondry
>Book signing by Eric Carle at the Festival of Books
>Free Sigur Ros concert and viewing of Heima at UCLA

And tonight in line, I saw the moon close up looking though this super powerful telescope.

What's so great is that everything was free, I didn't hit traffic, and I found a parking spot instantly.
AND I saw the Hollywood sign for the first time, EVER. Finally, huh.

Back to Orange County tomorrow. I'm going to take advantage of the free on your birthday Disneyland offer. Even if it's for a couple of hours to ride Space Mountain, Finding Nemo, etc. etc.
