happy valentine's day for all you folks who celebrate this hallmark "holiday".
this weekend was pretty good. i didn't have to work at all, which was great, and i got to see socratic.
saturday i went to the mall with my mom. hollister has gone to crap. seriously what is that shit they're selling?!? i spent almost $300 in american eagle, but i have to return some things. i should really try stuff on before i buy it. i also bought a pair of shoes from steve madden. that was a good day.
yesterday dan woke me up at a quarter to eight in the morning to drop off tickets for the show. steve went to the show with me and he brought me a heart-shaped cupcake! so cute. my mom fell in love with him and we went to the show. there was traffic, which got us really ancy, but we made it to hoboken in time to see erica and ariana crossing the street! we picked them up and off we were. kevin said hi to me as soon as we walked in and said he'd be working merch. i didn't really see/talk to him much after that besides him coming over once to hug me and then walk away, and then the time he was talking to those girls and he was pointing at me.. dan came over and said hi, and i think yesterday was the most i've talked to him at a show ever. i met betty, she's nice. the consequence were really good. other than for felix and socratic the show was pretty boring though. i was falling asleep. for felix was really good and dan played amazingly well, especially since he just learned the songs a week ago. high fives for dan. adelphi weren't that great, i wasn't impressed at all. socratic was amazing as usual. they opened with i am the doctor and i think erica and i were the only ones dancing. i <3 them a lot. their set seemed short, but it was still good nonetheless. steve and i went over to the merch table to say goodbye to kevin. he said he's at park place like once a week, so next time he's there he's going to give me a call and we'll go on a "hot date". then he said just kidding and i cried a little inside. i talked to him before and he said the second show was better, there was more people and more socratic fans. i told him i wish we could have talked more than just hi and bye and he said yeah, it would have been awesome and if i stayed i could have eaten dinner with them. but oh well. he said he'll definitely call me the next time he's going to park place. no matter how hard i try to fight it, i still have a crush on him. a lot of me would really like to get over him, but i think a part of me really likes the (not-so-much) chasing.
last night erica called me from the northstar show at the knitting factory. northstar was playing rigged and ready and i couldn't really hear it that well until they started singing the best part of the song, which was amazing. erica i <3 you a lot.
today i met up with steve at brookdale before class then again after class. that was fun. rain sucks when you're parked really far away. brookdale sucks all the time. steve is awesome all the time.
