i forgot to mention the most random part of yesterday!
i went to 2nd street to pick up some xmas gifts and i was perusing the used cds at fingerprints (ok, more for myself than anyone else. shh.), i saw a familiar, plaid-shirt-clad indie rock boy. i couldn't place him because all of those boys sort of blend together. but then i heard his nasally voice and i instantly placed him: my 9th grade crush!! this was the boy that i used to pine over in my spanish class. hahaha. we used to talk about punk rock and i thought that he was so awesome. then when i was over him in the 11th grade, one of my bffs started dating him and i was a witness to their nauseating make out sessions. awesome.
