So I was up at 4:30 this morning so I could be at work at 6am . . . I am SO glad that the Christmas shopping season is over! No more 35+ hour weeks! Yay!!!
I got home from the craziness of work at about 1:30 and collapsed into bed for a couple of hours out of pure exhaustion.
Then I spent a little time finishing up some decorating and headed to church for Christmas Eve service.
Candlelight service tonight was wonderful . . .
. . . so touching and beautiful and it really made me feel good for the first time in a while.
Then the tragic news - a family in our community's house burned down last night and their 6 year old daughter didn't survive the fire. How tragic is that? Please keep them in your prayers!
Then the night ended with Randy proposing to Deann at the end in front of everyone - and while it was a cute way to propose, and while I am happy for them - I'm also a little bitter. That's engagement #3 among my friends. And while I don't want to complain - I can't help but wonder - when will it be my turn?
Oh well . . .
. . . life goes on.
The most important message of the night: WISE MEN STILL SEEK HIM!!!
Ok - now it's off to wrap presents and make dinner!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!!
