Moving into a new house was more difficult that Aoi had thought. They had to take down furniture, pack things into boxes, vaccuum the empty space, kill all the bugs that remained in the tiny corners, make sure nothing they needed was left, and move everything to the lower floor into the moving truck.
The fact that they lived on the fifth floor didn't help at all. Moving things downstairs was difficult because the elevator could only hold a limited amount of weight, so taking the stairs would have to do for most of the heavy items. When you needed a break from moving things in and out of the apartment, you held the door, a very heavy door, that is.

It was weird to him that Uruha was moving everything happily, and he noticed that the other had a lot of physical strength. For once, Aoi was actually grateful that Uruha was there to help. The only problem that really bugged Aoi about Uruha though, was that he was clumsy and kept bumping into walls and hitting things against other things; which wasn't a good thing at all because the items he was carrying could possibly be damaged in some sort of way, shape or form; or Uruha himself could be damaged in some sort of way, shape, or form as well, not that Aoi cared that much.
The sound of things tumbling over and falling to the ground made Aoi snap out of his thoughts. Seeing a mess of blonde hair by his foot, he poked it with his shoe trying to get Uruha back up on his feet.
"Didn't I tell you to be careful?" He says.
"Well, it's not MY fault that the carpet over there tripped me!" Uruha says with his face muffled by the carpet below him.
One side of Aoi's lips tug into a smile, as he bends down and grabs Uruha's arm to pull him up. "Get up silly, now it just looks like you're trying to eat the carpet."

--

He felt two hands grab the elbow joint of his arm and tug gently, encouraging him to get up. And those hands were no other than Aoi's.
That was when Uruha realized that Aoi was actually kind of touching him!
"Oh my god, oh my god, Aoi is touching me! Why is he touching me? Aoi don't touch me!" he whimpered in his mind.
"Oi, you gonna get up or eat the dirt and dustmites?"
Taking Aoi's arm into his hands, Uruha pulled himself up and fixed his hair, looking at the reflection in the opposite glass door that Aoi was holding.
"You know, you should be getting back to work." Aoi states.
"Just give me a moment." Uruha grumbles while pulling his hair different directions to get it to it's original shape.
Laughing, Aoi walks towards him and ruffles his hair up, making a even bigger mess of his hair.
Aoi touched him again.
"Aoi! Now look what you did."
Aoi giggled, "It doesn't matter, just get back to work now."
"You should be working too you know! You've been holding that door for hours now." Uruha whined.
"You wanna trade places? You've been at this for some time now."
"If you don't mind then sure." Uruha started to approach the door until Aoi stopped him.
"But first you have to pick up all that and bring it to the truck."

When Uruha returned from loading his items into the moving truck, he held the door by leaning his whole body against it. When Aoi left, he was sure that he could hear, if not just a little bit, of Aoi's faint heartbeat.

"You alright?"
Uruha looked up to see Reita staring back at him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?" Uruha replies.
"Well, you're awfully giddy today and you were just smiling and giggling to yourself. And plus, you're pretty much sparkling in more ways than one."
"I am?"
"Yes you are."
Uruha giggled once more and leaned his face over to Reita's ear. "Let's just say I heard something nice today." he whispered.
"Like what?" Reita whispers back.
"You know...Aoi...and..." Uruha makes the shape of a heart with his hands and shows his friend and starts moving his wrists to show a heart beating. After a few seconds of Reita staring cluelessly at him, he says, "I heard his heart for the first time ever."
Reita raises his eyebrows in surprise. "Really?"
"Yep!"
"That's nice to know." Reita says and pats the blonde on the back, "I'm proud of you. I'm going back to work okay?"
"Aoi's heartbeat is sex to my ears." Uruha says dreamily out of the blue.
Reita stares at Uruha's face with one of his eyebrows arched up, only to see Uruha's eyes sparkle and his lips curled up into a gleeful smile.
"Are you absolutely sure that you're alright?"

--

The last few items were loaded into the truck only a few minutes after Uruha and Aoi had switched places. The rolling and slamming of the truck's back door being shut signalled them that they were ready to move to their new living area.

"I'm taking my car, I'll meet you in a bit." Uruha said, bidding a temporary goodbye to Reita and Aoi. Two of them driving away, the car ride was silent, only the ducks in Reita's head nipping at his brain that were nagging him to say something about one particular person who wasn't here with them at the moment.
"Hey Aoi..." he started hesitant. Through his prereferal vision, he could see his friend look up hearing his name.
"What do you think...about Uruha? I've never heard you really talk about him."
"Does he talk about me?" Aoi asked, curious.
"Well um..." the blonde began, trying to cover Uruha at the very moment. "No."
Aoi smirked, "You're lying aren't you."
"Well he doesn't say anything terrible!"
"So he DOES talk about me!"
"No he doesn't!"
Aoi laughed and smacked Reita on the arm lightly, remembering that he still had his hands on the steering wheel. "You're a bad liar you know that. Why are you asking me anyways? I still don't really know him all that well."
"I just want to know. Like, if you mind his prescense and all."
There was a moment of silence between them. Just before Reita was going to ask if Aoi was day dreaming and didn't heat what he said, Aoi began to speak.
"I don't mind him, it's just that he can be really annoying sometimes. I can tell he wants to get to know me better, and I try to tell him things about myself bit by bit, but it just doesn't seem to work so easily for me now. My mind is pulling me to trust him, but I just can't seem to do it. I hardly even know him, but he hardly knows me either." He sighed and leaned back on the car seat.
"I don't hate him...if that's what you're wondering."
