Coffee - AoixRuki - Drabble
Title: Coffee

Summary: Maybe one sip wouldn't hurt.
Whether if it's jogging at 6AM, eating an apple, drawing a stick person in your notebook, going to school, or eating a tomato, everyone has their daily 'thing'.
Of course, Aoi had his own daily staple. That, being coffee. Black, no sugar, and a teeny bit of cream.
Ruki wonders how in the world he drinks that thing; he even smells like it too. The bitterness lingers on your tongue, your breath smells bad, caffeine literally takes over your entire body, and he's also heard its bad for your singing voice.
No wonder Aoi has so much energy everyday.
Sitting at the kitchen table with Aoi, Ruki peers into his cup full of dark coffee. He blows at the steam as it fogs up his glasses and watches the liquid as ripples form through his temporary blurred vision.
"Do you want some? " Aoi asks.
Ruki grunts an "I don't know." response.
"You can have some if you want, I haven't drank from it yet." he smiles.
Ruki continues to stare at the coffee, and remembers how disgusting it is. But... he hasn't drank it for a long time.
Maybe one sip wouldn't hurt.
He lifts the small white cup with both hands up to his lips; blowing the liquid in hesitation. Slowly, he tips the cup over and lets the liquid invade his mouth.
Puffing his cheeks and squinting his eyes, Ruki grimaces at the taste. Shaking his head, he puts the cup back onto the saucer and forces himself to swallow the bitter substance.
He hears Aoi laughing at him.
"What?" he asks.
"Oh, nothing. You're just so cute." Aoi says as he ruffles his bedhead hair and hugs him tightly. He kisses Ruki on the cheek and pulls away.
"I'll never like coffee." Ruki giggles.
A/N: I'm starting to like coffee now. Well, maybe its because I put a whole lot of sugar in it and whip cream on the top. Hehe ^^ (I really shouldn't be drinking coffee though ;^;)
