Next Stop: Orlando

Another phase of my life is starting once again. This is one of the most important steps of my life .I have another internship. I am working for Coca-Cola North America in their Minute Maid/Simply Juice R&D center in Apopka. I am going to be living in Sanford and the drive to work everyday will be around 45 minutes. What fun! I am really excited about this internship. This is the plant I ultimately want to work for... so we will see if I like it and they like me. I will work until the holidays come around in December. I am going to still keep my place in Gainesville and come home on some weekends. I have to go to my home Gator games!

I will have live in 4 different places, 3 counties, and 2 states this year... and it's only the start of September!

I need to finish up my application for grad school... I'll work on that this week. I have to update my resume, statement of purpose, and probably something else. My resume is getting so full and I am not sure how to arrage it anymore. Ha! I guess I shouldn't be complaining about that.

Not much else is going on. I defiantly love the "no school" aspect of life. Well undergrad anyway. I think grad school could be a lot of fun. The projects people are working on seem really easy. I got a taste of how the food industry works and it's not so intimidating anymore.

So I'm torn... I want to work in R&D for a while but then... I want to become a research chef. I am not exactly sure how I am going to do this. You need a shit load of experience, a culinary degree, and be a huge go-geter... which I have none of those things at the moment. We will see how about I want that and see where the job takes me after my Masters.

I need to meet some friends in the Orlando area so I won't be too bored on weeknights and the weekends I stay. I met this pretty cool guy so we are going to hang out this week and see how it goes. I'm pretty excited about this too.

I need to hit up some microbreweries while in the Orlando area. I have conquered the mid-est now it is time to do the same to Florida. I think I will keep a map of all the microbrews I have been too that way I can make sure I hit them all. :D

Ok time to pack!
