Update
Too much has been going on for me to write about it all. I can't even find the time to call my friends and talk to them.
I am having a great time up here.
Lets do an update. I broke up with Mike and was sad about it. Well come to find out he really is a douche. He may or may not have been trying to see some girl who I think didn't want him. Well anyway he started to be a douche and called me names or whatever. So that is very much over.
The guy at work, Tim, shows promise. Well not a whole lot since he lives here but it could be fun for a summer thing. I'm going to try and see if this could go anywhere.
My new roommate, Jen, moved in. She is something else. There was some tension between her and the more conservative roommate but it looks like everything is working out well. I really like the roomies and for some reason we all work fairly well together.
I went to Champaign last night with my roommates and the ADM guys upstairs. We had a lot of fun and I really hope to do it again. I just have to wait another week before anything fun. But maybe now that Jen is here we can go out on week nights and do something fun. I hope so because I cannot wait a week to get out of the apartment.
Everyone is cool in the fact that I will be welcome to their places/colleges. I have a place to stay in NY, Chicago, and St. Louis anytime I want. We are also going up to the UP with Jake for his birthday weekend. I'm very excited!
Work is going great! I have to figure out my project though and the formulas I want to use because it isn't working at the moment.
This summer has defiantly already been a learning experience and I will continue to have more fun and experience new things. Take the internship was probably the 1st best choice I have ever made. I would say that it was the 2nd and my Europe trip was the 1st but going to Europe was an automatic decision.
It is just weird that the best things in my life have happened this year. I wonder what else there is to come.
