I will be on a plan to London in 17 days! I can't believe that it is almost here. My mom and I have been planning this since before the summer started and now it's finally here! I just hope two weeks will be enough... I know it won't. I'm already trying to figure out when my next trip over there will be. I'm hoping in less than 2 years. It will probably be after I have been at a job for a year and take a vacation. I just hope I have enough time in my life to go everywhere I want.
The semester is almost done! I have 3 finals, 1 lab report and 1 quiz left. I should be getting 2 A's and 1 B. Then one more semester and I can (hopefully) support myself completely. That's the goal. I'll be making enough over the summer to have a good chunk of change left over in case I can't find a job right away. I hope that isn't the case. I really don't want to live with my parents again. Maybe the economy will be getting better next fall.
Funny story about tonight. I was at the stop light at Archer and 34th. This black SUV pulled up next to us and the guys in the car got Alicia's attention and she rolled down her window. The driver was just basically bullshitting with her and trying to get her number. They were pretty funny guys, not threatening really. She gave him her sister's number as the light was turning green and we were taking off.
Then I get stopped at the turn light by the Kangaroo on 35th. Well they pulled up behind us and I see the driver get out of his car and walk up to mine and open the driver's side back door. The light turned green and he hopped in my car and we started to drive. His friend got out of the passenger seat and got in the drivers and followed us. He started bullshitting with us again and found out he lives in the Polos, oddly enough. Then we gave him a real phone number and more bullshitting.
Then I pull into my parking spot and everyone gets out. I was laughing the entire time. His friend was apologizing for his drunk friend. Both the guys gave us hugs and kisses on the hand. The guy who got in my car, Nick, had a few drinks and I believe his friend, Brian, was fairly sober. So after that awkwardness the went to their building which is like one building down from mine.
Too bad these guys weren't really cute or tall, but it was still the highlight of my week. I haven't laughed that much in a while.
