Augury

The corvids are gathering lately. I don't know if it's seasonal or what; it kind of seems like it. There are spots where I always see ravens, this valley and that valley, where they must have nests. They always seem to be in twos and threes. But the last two days I have seen great clans of them, unkindnesses of ravens flying east. I don't know what is to the east that they're after. There is something shivery about many ravens together.

I, on the other hand, am feeling; not quite solitary, but not quite social either.
