Northern spirits.
Had another Norse-related dream. It had something to do with me researching and writing an article or essay about pre-Viking era Norse society and its relationship to its Gods. I have a vague memory of "going there", as in to that time and place, to observe stuff for the article. Wish it really were that easy, eh?
Something's going on here. The last two books I picked up and read, both sort of at random, were about Norse mythology: Neil Gaiman's American Gods (which I picked up because it was Gaiman, not knowing the content), and a reprint of a 19th century handbook on Norse mythology (which we found at the flea market and bought for a quarter because why not). I started having dreams with Northern-feeling beings appearing in them, like wolves. Wolves do not ordinarily appear in my spiritual or imaginal universe, they are really just not one of my creatures, personally.
I feel like somebody is trying to get my attention, but I'm not sure who yet.
