BKK Day Three and Four
Finally back to continue from where i left off - Bangkok Day Three, and it is also the last night in Bangkok. :( And Day Four.
After the usual morning bfast routine, i met Mummy's friend, Uncle Nattapong to pass him the ciggarettes that he asked me to buy from Singapore. And at the same time, he was to pass me the pork floss that my mum asked him to buy for me to bring back. Thereafter, Muiling accompanied me to go to 四面佛 to pray for my upcoming results while the rest went to MBK to shop for their stuffs.
Was walking back to the hotel when we passed by Central World and decided to head in to check it out. Found NaRaYa inside and spent quite a bit of time shopping. Thought that we were late when we suddenly received Jasmine's SMS to let us know that they are going to be late because they were doing massage! Haha. Damn, this whole trip i only had my massage done once! :(
After finally meeting up with them, randomly on the streets (how coincidental can that be, you tell me!), we then decided to tuk tuk to Platinum Mall again! This whole trip is literally spent at Platinum Mall because we can never finish combing the whole area! :( We went our separate ways as usual and decided on a time to meet back again.
As this was our last night in BKK, we decided to have a good dinner! We went back to MBK and settled down at this cafe and ordered SUPER ALOT of dishes! We were really satisfied with dinner that night! :D Here comes the best part - after walking back to the hotel, we finally opened the bottles of drink we bought the previous night! There was a little alcoholic content in the drink. So we played cards in the room till 330AM! And we had not packed our luggage properly somemore! Haha. We woke up at like 630-7AM the next morning. I was super tired, i tell you! With only 3 hours of sleep, i really wanted to sleep in instead of having bfast! Ate very little during bfast and i even had a 5 minutes nap in the bfast area. Haha!
Then we faster went back to the room to pack our stuffs and proceeded to check out. Left our luggages and barang barang at the Conceirge to leave for Jatujak weekend market! The weather was tremendously HOT TTM! Really couldnt take it. I was feeling so sticky and uncomfortable. :( Shopping at Jatujak didnt make it any better either. The shops were narrow, squeezy with so many people, hot and humid, not to mention - smelly. Dont ask me why. It just wasnt a pleasant experience overall. Gimme Platinum Mall anytime! Haha, because its air-conditioned. :b didnt buy much from Jatujak because of the above reasons mentioned, save for a pair of sandals and some clothed pencil cases for my friends!
OH! We had this ice-lolli that cost us only like THB4?! Thats so freaking cheap! The tastiest was Pepsi-flavour! Makes me feel like having one now because Singapore is just so humid! We ate like 3-4 of it in less than an hour! That was how hot it was. Then we finally found each other (the girls and guys separated again) under the hot sun and went to have lunch at this air-conditioned place. Really is buay tahan already TTM. Haha. For me to complain hot ah, means its really hot! Because i do not sleep with air-condition and i can survive quite well without air-condition. So for me to complain is really ULTIMATE HOT liao.
After all that shopping, we split again. Muiling, Gerald and i into one cab to go to Siam Paragon. For what right? Just to get FRESHLY BAKED Krispy Kremes for my dear sister! She googled the nearest place for me and i didnt wanna disappoint her. So i actually requested to go there. And this kind Muiling decided to accompany me. Hehe, so nice. Accompany me to 四面佛 and now accompany me to Siam Paragon. :D So Jasmine, Yvonne and Daniel went to Platinum Mall again to find toys for their nephew.
We actually arranged to meet back at the hotel at about 5pm because that would be the time the airport transfer would be coming to pick us up. We reached about 445pm like that? But they didnt respond to our SMSes. And i was feeling really sticky. So we decided to take a chance and ask the hotel if we could actually have a quick shower. Guess what?
They actually said OKAY! OMG. Tell me whats there not to like about this hotel! Pathumwan Princess Hotel FTW man! Really! We were quite shocked also. So the three of us went to use the shower facilities at the gym to have a quick shower. They provided the towel and inside the shower, they had soap and shampoo. Omg, you cannot imagine how refreshed i felt after the shower, although i still had to wear back my smelly clothes! Haha. :) Mega pleased with their service please! ^^
So they finally arrived and Daniel went to take a quick shower while Jasmine and Yvonne said they already washed up so it was okay. We then finally made our way to the airport. :( It was really funny because this Yvonne took videos of us sleeping in the van! So unglam! Haha. When we reached the airport, they packed their stuffs that they bought from Jatujak into their luggage while Muiling went to clingwrapped her backpack. Her backpack was like almost my height can! Super heavy! I carried until i almost fell over!
Funny point to note - After dinner, we cleared immigration and i had to go find NaRaYa for my friend because he asked me to buy something for his friend. But guess what! I couldnt find it! After walking from the immigration to the other end of the airport! And best thing was? My flight was having 'last call'! It literally made Muiling and i ran for it know! And i was in slippers, i couldnt run for long! But i didnt wanna miss my flight so i ran with all my might seriously! BUT GUESS WHAT.
Their supposedly 'last call' meant - last call to passengers before they opened the flight doors. !@#$%^&*()_+ >:( :@ YOU KNOW HOW MAD WAS I! OMG LA! The whole group of us was running like for our lives! In the end, the gate wasnt even closed! So infuriating! Everyone was staring at us like, why this group running for what? Like make us look so stupid man. Plus, i didnt have water on hand with me - i felt like dying! Thats the bad thing about budget flights. :( AND! The flight got delayed for over an hour! After we boarded the plane and settled down, i kinda fell asleep because i was really too tired. When i got jolted up, i realised i was still on Thailand ground! Like, WALAUEH! -.-
Anyhow, reached Singapore in one piece thankfully! Guess we were really tired because all of us slept while on the flight home. Yvonne's mum came to pick us up! Hee. Thanks aunty! :D
I really enjoyed this trip. Despite the initial hiccups and disagreements, i was glad we were able to compromise and settle for the best arrangement! This trip would forever be memorable for me and i would not have traded it for any other experience! ♥
