THEY HAVE A SON AND I'M CRYING. Can we just talk about how they're such great parents? I mean this was mostly about everyone else's reactions to the baby and stuff, but in the little bits we got where it was just Hannah and Eli, you really showcased that so that was super duper sweet. Aw, I'm so happy. Little cutie patuties.

They really are great parents. It helps a lot that they both babysat when they were teenagers, so they both have experience with and love kids, plus you know Hannah would've just read so many books and stuff while she was pregnant XD I think being parents is something that just comes very naturally to both of them.

It doesn't bother Eli in the least, though. He thinks she gave him the best birthday present she could have given him, and he also thinks it's pretty cool, because Nicholas was born in time to be a leap year baby - February 29, 2016 - and Eli will happily share his birthday with his son during the three years where February 29 is missing from the calendar.

She remembers losing it when she held Stuart's granddaughter the first time, but is determined not to do the same with her grandson.

croons because maddie friendship love even if there's a tinge of sadness and heartbreak it's getting better so do the thing I can't wait until you do the thing
(also han and eli are adorable parents even though they should have stayed at home the first month because of his immune system and okay the aunt in me that just went through newborn training this past year is shutting up now.)
