I believe I suck at life! Pete from Live 105 and I were tweeting each other and he ended up having extra tickets to Kings of Leon, but I couldn't drive myself out to the city (I'm almost 20 and not allowed to, lol) and AJ would've gone, but he lived in Richmond, so there's no way he could've picked me up and us make it in time. Such a bummer! Maybe.. next time? I am thinking of attending BFD because I would love to see Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric, and Taking Back Sunday.
My uncle had his party on the 16th, and it was quite interesting. He drank way too much, got sick, and passed out. I guess after I left an ambulance came and he had to go to the hospital. Seriously? I love him, but he's 42 now and still unaware of his limits.. haha. My other uncle snuck me a shot and I kept getting stared at by the young guys from Costco, and one 30-something-year-old.
I hope Corey is able to visit as soon as possible. He says he's going to come when he feels comfortable with his money situation. I'm going to start working soon, which will be good so that way I'll have the funds to show him around the bay area. Anyone have any suggestions what we can do while he's here?
Sucks that my family still thinks of me as a little girl, no one will spare him a bed even though there's plenty to spare. All I can say is they won't be happy, because I won't make him sleep alone at a hotel.
