*idea!* SO. Examples always help yes (all my stuff too btw lol)? Here is how I see the difference between greyscale and b/w. This is (what I consider) greyscale:
This is (what I consider) b/w:
Greyscale always seems... softer, yes? B/W usually comes across as a lot harsher/sharper due to how crisp it usually looks. That's usually how you can figure out where it lands. If you look at the 2 b/w icons you can see that the black is BLACK. It's not soft, or blurred. It's sharp and dark, absolutely black. If you're going for greyscale that usually how you can tell you've gone to far. Like in the David Tennant icon you can still see color variation in his face because it's grey lol. Neil and Annie's faces look like they're one solid color (well Neil's has shadowing going on, but still lol). /rambling
I SEE!!! That's really helpful. =) I edited all the icons, and I think by your standards all of them are greyscale. (Except I think the dorky one was black & white before I put the texture in. lol)
Overall it's all greyscale though, I think. Yeah? And I tried to make them sharper and more icon-y. o.o Are they better, do you think?

BUT YES. They look so much better I hate to say it that way, but they do lol. ONLY THING. Confused has a red tint to it? I don't know if that's just me, but yeah..... Otherwise, you've definitely improved them greatly!
