Thoughts on tonight’s Teen Wolf:
Okay so I’ll be brief mostly: Melissa McCall is IN-FUCKING-CREDIBLE! Stiles is still the greatest part of the show. Isaac is freaking adorable and I want to keep him. I really do think Ethan cares more about Danny than he was ever supposed to and I think that’s going to end up being a problem with his pack and I still hope the twins turn good cause they’re children and I still hate to see children die.
CONS: The Scott and Allison scene in the closet was so fucking pointless oh my God WHY?! WHY?! You threw that shit in there and RUINED THE GREAT EPISODE flow! I don’t have a problem with them, I get that they’re a big plot line, but GOD that didn’t FIT! It was UNNECESSARY!
Also, I really fucking hate this ‘true alpha’ crap. I’ve liked Scott better this season but I do not agree at all with the ‘strength of character’ bullshit. Until this season Scott has been a selfish, whiny little bitch. I’d buy it more with a ‘this is a new thing’ but people going “Oh I saw it in you from the start" … no. Just no. I see what’s going to happen, they’re going to use it even MORE to make Derek seem weak and useless and I’m SO SICK of hurting Derek! He’s basically the one character that the writers torture and torture and everything that happens to him is none of his fault and yet he suffers SO MUCH and he deserves some fucking recognition finally, not this ‘OOOH SCOTT IS A TRUE ALPHA, THATS EVEN BETTER!’ crap. (sorry I have Derek feels)
And speaking of feels lets get to it…. BOYD! laksdfj;kldfs MY SOUL! I cannot even. See, Boyd hasn’t even been much of a thing for me. I’ve never really cared much about Boyd. But somehow his death still hurt SO BAD. Mostly because of how he seemed… okay. When he told Derek “It’s okay" and “The full moon. The feeling it gives us. It was worth it" (don’t remember exact words but its close enough) it tells you all you need to know about his life. He’s a KID and the power he felt that short while was worth it. And ASKING ABOUT THE ECLIPSE BECAUSE IT WAS HIS LAST MEMORY OF ERICA! THE FLASHBACK OF THAT! She was his only friend. He said before ‘I had one friend and she’s dead’…. I hate to say it, but it felt like he was okay because now he’d get to see her again and GOD IT HURTS! I burst into tears. And I keep crying a little with gifsets I come across. And GOD DEREK! DEREK’S GUILT COMPLEX IS BAD ENOUGH! Sure, he obviously was non-conned into it (what is it with people and using him in various ways?!) but he was so broken. It hurt man. It all fucking hurt.
ALSO dude we need to get Derek a freaking rape counselor dude. Okay maybe its not been sexual, but this makes the third time someone forcibly used his body for their own bidding, man. When Lydia used him to resurrect Peter, when Scott held him and made him bite Gerard, and now when they held his arms and made him KILL HIS OWN BETA. aslkdfjaksd;fl STOP NON-CONNING HIM! Even overlooking last week's serious dub-con sexing (maybe it was consensual sex, but the dude was bleeding heavily and barely conscious, 99% sure he was just as 'unable to consent' as someone who is drunk and we all know talking drunk people - or in this case, barely conscious and heavily bleeding people - into having sex with you is still pretty much rape) he's had his body forcibly utilized for things he didn't want them to.
