I think I want to be a flight attendant. I'm pretty much impossible to REALLY piss off and I tend to be happy 90% of my life (or better).
I can see how some of the things they list as 'cons of the job' would be cons to someone with a family (Away from home a lot, long hours, shitty pay) because having kids and not being around very often would be pretty shitty. I think the longest my mom's ever been away from any of her kids in the 20 years she's been a mom is the 5 days I was on vacation with my aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandparents when I was seventeen. And then she was still at home with the other 3. I'm actually pretty sure she hasn't spent a night AWAY from at least one of her kids in our lives because even when she was in the hospital having babiez, they were there so it still counts, lmao.
My dad's is a week because he went on that hunting trip to Canada and it sucked not seeing him for a week but I don't think he missed us half as much as he would if he hadn't been in CANADA!.
BUT, as a person who has ZERO plans of EVER having kids OR even getting married and plans to live either alone or with a friend/family member for my ENTIRE life...
I have no problems with those cons!
And, discount flights FTW!
Idk, it was one of the jobs on the list of 'Careers for the Bilingual!' when I was looking at my second major I will be adding next summer.
