Lmao, no, not really. Actually you know what? The game was fair, Japan played a good game, and sure, penalty kick results SUCK but it is what it is, you know? This victory brings a hope to a country that has had a lot of bad luck lately.
Golden Glove goes to Hope Solo, Bronze boot and Silver ball goes to Abby Wambach, and the Golden ball and Golden boot goes to Homare Sawa. All AMAZING players!
And Abby Wambach IS STILL A BEAST!!!!! And as much as everybody's been writing this off as her final WC, she is 31, sure, but she's in damn good shape and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her again in four years at the next WC.
