Okay, omfg, seriously... GAHHH!
Okay, last night I read a story that I HAVE to recommend. I don't usually rec much but this one is like... even if you dont read the pairing, you HAVE to!
It's called Call The Darkness Light and its an Adam/Tommy fic.
The summary, basically, is this: "Adam, a Fallen angel, is in love with Tommy and makes a bet with his guardian angel (Brad) for Tommy's soul, with Adam's freedom at stake." But it's so much more than that. It is kinda like some really amazing 'bad isnt necessarily bad but it IS, and yet good isn't NECESSARILY all that good, only it is, cause its GOOD!' and like... it gets REALLY into religion based stories without getting preachy. Like, I cant tell you without telling the story, but at one point you actually have a conflict of 'wow, God is so horrible!' and you sorta wanna side with those who've turned their backs on God. Don't let the religious content disuede you though, it's really well written so it isn't preachy or anything. It's SERIOUSLY well done. SO interesting.
Basically it's like this: If you can read this story without crying, you HAVE. NO. SOUL!!!
Now, I know I cry easily, you all do, but this story... holy fuck... its so beautiful and tragic and emotional and just... asdfklajdsfkljsldfk;jlAHHHHHHHHH
You may be asking 'why Chelsea, why would we WANT to cry?!?' ... that's not WHY you should read it, but it is just a sign of a good fic if you are so invested you cry. Basically, I wont say if its a HAPPY or SAD ending, but I will say its the best ending you could give the story. I wouldn't recommend something so sad if it wasn't worth the read.
I wont say it's the 'best fic ever omfg!' because I still like one other Adam/Tommy better, but it is really one of those stories that changes you in a way.
And some of you are probably going 'eh, it probably isnt THAT good and I wont cry' ... try me, dude. I swear, if you dont at least cry a LITTLE, you HAVE NO HEART!
It was so emotional I cried HAPPY tears at one point even... and I NEVER DO THAT! I was so emotional that I was just starting to stop bawling over the fic and the video to SING came on the tv and, though I did go 'aww, thats sad' when I first saw it, I BAWLED OVER SING!!!! lmao. I was so unsettled still that when Gerard died I was all "WAAAAH NOOO GEEERAAARRDDD *sobs violently*" lmao!
Seriously, if you read this fic you WILL NOT regret it. If you do read it, tell me what you think, because I really want to know how others respond to the fic (apart from the 293048329482049 BILLION "OMFG AMAZING BEST FIC EVER" comments, lol)
