Bill slept in his bed with Tom, afraid of leaving the room in case he woke up. Georg let Gustav sleep on the couch in his room, since they were both very tired. When Bill woke up, Tom had shifted so that Bill’s arms were around him and Tom was holding one of Bill’s hands in his. Bill pulled his arms from around him and lifted up to look over at his face, only to smile when he saw Tom’s eyes open. “Tomi?” he said softly, earning a sigh.

“How long was I lost?” Tom asked, voice hoarse.

Bill sat up quickly, grabbing the pitcher of water and cup sitting beside the bed. “It was dark when they told us you were missing and we started searching. Then the sun was coming up by the time we got back here with you,” he said.

Tom sat up with Bill’s help and drank some water. “How did you find me so fast?” he asked.

Bill propped pillows behind Tom, making him comfortable. “I had hunting dogs brought here so we could track you,” he said. “And it was Franzsiska’s dogs, so it only took a few hours to get them and come back,” he said.

Tom cringed. “Gustav’s sister?” he asked softly.

Bill nodded. “Gustav said you two argued?” he asked, and Tom just looked away, swallowing. “Tom?” he asked with a frown.

Tom sighed. “He kissed me again,” he said, earning narrowed eyes from Bill.

“Again?” he asked. “Why is he treating you that way?” he asked with a frown. “I thought he was better than this,” he said.

Tom bit his lip. “Bill… I don’t like feeling this way,” he said, voice soft and weak. He turned to Bill and looked up at his brother. “I feel- I feel like he’s in my head and I can’t get him out. I want to spend time with him, and talk to him, and he makes me feel like I matter, but then he goes and kisses me and runs because of my past,” he said softly. He looked up at Bill. “I feel so worthless every time he calls me a whore,” he said softly. “It’s never bothered me before he said it,” he admitted, looking upset.

Bill’s eyes narrowed dangerous. “He called you what?!?” he snarled, only to look at the window. “Hold on, I’ve just remembered I need to tell Georg something,” he said, kissing Tom’s temple before he climbed out of bed. He walked to the window and opened it, feeling his cheeks heating as his anger mounted.

Georg and Gustav snapped awake to the sound of someone banging on the door to the balcony. Georg sat up quickly and saw Bill outside. He walked over and opened the door, frowning when he saw a furious Bill. “Bill?” he asked.

“Where’s Gustav?” he asked, and Gustav stood up, scratching at his sleep ruffled hair. Bill’s eyes narrowed.

“Bill, I didn’t mean-“

“Bastard!” Bill snarled, letting out a cry of anger as he leapt on Gustav, snatching his hair before punching him in the face.

“BILL!” Georg rushed over and snatched him off of Gustav. “Bill, what the hell is wrong with you?!” Georg cried, pushing him back across the room.

Bill just stopped struggling, allowing Georg to lead him towards the door. “If you ever call Tom a whore again, I will break your face,” Bill said, glaring at Gustav, who looked shocked still. “I’m completely overlooking the fact that YOU upset him and made him run away into the forest in order to get lost and that if he’d have died it would’ve been your fault-“ Gustav looked apologetic. “But I will not overlook you calling my big brother a whore.” He took Georg’s hand and squeezed it. “I’m sorry I woke you, my love,” Bill said with a surprisingly sweet smile before turning to disappear out the door.

Georg shot Gustav a confused look and Gustav just laughed hollowly. “If I were you, I’d be sure to never upset my husband,” he said, rubbing his jaw. “God as skinny as he is he sure can throw a right,” he said, checking to make sure his mouth wasn’t bleeding.

Georg shot him a look. “Why did you call Tom a whore?” he asked.

Gustav groaned. “Because I’m a fool,” he said softly. He looked up. “He drives me mad and it makes me behave in ways that are completely irrational! And when I realize ‘Gustav, what are you doing?!’ and try and get back on track, it hurts him and I feel like dirt for the things I say,” he said, tugging at his messy curls himself. “That boy is going to send me to the workhouse!” he sighed, sitting back down on heavily.

Georg blinked, then suddenly smirked. “Why Gustav! What happened to ‘I’m not interesting in courting anybody’?” he asked, then raised an eyebrow. “What exactly have you two been doing going off alone together all the time?” he asked and Gustav glared.

“Nothing you’re thinking,” he said and Georg faked innocence.

“I was thinking about reading books!” he cried with a laugh. “So, you’re in love with my stable boy,” he said, and Gustav spluttered.

“I am not!” he cried. “I’m not in love with the stable boy!” he cried defensively. “I don’t have any interest in love,” he defended.

Georg shot him a look. “I know the symptoms of falling in love with a Trumper twin, trust me,” he said, and Gustav flailed a bit.

“I’M NOT FALLING IN LOVE WITH THE TRAMP!” he cried, only to pale. “I mean…” he groaned and fell to his side. “He isn’t a tramp, he just…” Gustav sighed. “I always blame him when I’m the one with ridiculous desires,” he said, shaking his head sadly.

Georg just rolled his eyes. “Gustav, this isn’t medieval times. Hell, your sister married below herself! Maybe attraction to those less fortunate is genetic?” he teased.

Gustav glared. “This isn’t funny, Georg. Tom isn’t just some poorer person, he’s a dishonored boy with no self control whose every opinion antagonizes everything I believe in,” he said seriously.

Georg just smiled. “Never said love was easy,” he said then frowned. “Well, for me it kind of was. I was stuck married to a perfect stranger only to realize he’s absolutely the most perfect man ever born and all, but still… you can’t help it,” he said honestly.

Gustav just shook his head. “All I want is a friend and then I’m the one that gets a clouded brain and acts on impulse,” he said softly. “He deserves a better friend than me,” he said with a sad sigh. “I guess it just won’t work out as friends any longer. I should probably go back to university anyways,” he said, and Georg smiled sadly.

“I’ll miss you when you go back,” he said, and Gustav nodded.

“I’ll miss you as well, my friend.”

Gustav thought about just leaving, but he felt like he had to at least settle his own conscience. He had his carriage take him to the Listing estate once more before he went back to university for several months.

He walked from the gate to the stables, having already said goodbye to Georg and Bill before. He walked down the aisle he hadn’t been down in over a week. When he got to the end he found Tom brushing a baby horse with a wide smile on his face. Gustav ignored how the smile mad his heart warm and cleared his throat.

Tom looked up and his smile slid off his face. “Gustav,” he said softly. “Hi.”

Gustav smiled tentatively. “I just wanted to apologize,” he said, figuring he’d come straight out with it. “I’m sorry for calling you insulting things. And I’m sorry for leading you to believe I wanted something and then denying it to you,” he said, feeling his cheeks heat.

Tom just nodded. “I won’t lie, you calling me a tramp hurt me,” he said, looking down at the baby horse. “I’ve never felt worthless when other people called me names. I guess it’s because you know me and they don’t,” he said.

Gustav nodded. “Well… I actually came to tell you not only that I’m sorry, but also goodbye.” He looked at his hands and back up at Tom’s confused face. “I’m going back to university,” he said. “I’ll be twenty-one in a week. So I wanted to avoid my sister’s inevitable ball to try and make me meet someone,” he said, smiling awkwardly.

Tom bit his lip. “Oh,” he said softly. He smiled. “I’m actually eighteen today,” he said, and Gustav smiled.

“Happy birthday,” he said, nodding. “Tell Bill I said the same to him,” he said, added.

Tom nodded, then looked up with a sad smile. “Will I see you again soon?” he asked softly.

Gustav bit his lip. “Well… actually no. I won’t be back until Christmas,” he said.

Tom looked at him with wide eyes that nearly broke Gustav’s heart. “Oh. Well… I guess I’ll see you then,” he said.

Gustav nodded, scuffing his foot. “Goodbye, Tom,” he said softly. He turned and started to leave.

“Gustav, wait!” Gustav turned back to see Tom jogging towards him. “I- I just wanted to say thank you,” he said softly. “For teaching me so much and making me feel more like I mattered all those weeks,” he said, smiling. “No matter what happened, you really made me feel like someone cared besides my brother for the first time in a long time,” he said.

Gustav just looked up at Tom’s sad smile, feeling his stomach churning. “Tom,” he whispered, then shook his head. “Why are you thanking me? All I’ve done is insult you and lead you on.”

Tom shrugged. “You told the truth and just gave me what I had coming, really. I probably deserved it for all the people I’ve talked into bed with me,” he said.

Gustav sighed. “Tom, listen to me, you are not a tramp, I’m sorry,” he said. “I don’t want you thinking you are dirt. You’re an amazing boy and I’m sorry for all the things I’ve said and done,” he said.

Tom just smiled. “Thank you all the same,” he said.

Gustav just cleared his throat. “Goodbye, Tom.”

“Goodbye.”

Tom waited until Gustav was gone to sit down on a hay bale and stare blankly at the floor. He didn’t understand why he felt empty inside already.

Bill woke up with a yawn, only to smile when he felt fingers sliding along his belly lazily. He stretched some, wiggling his toes and straightening his legs out. He smiled when he felt a breath on his neck, causing him to shiver. “Happy birthday, my darling.” Bill smiled as he heard Georg’s words.

“I’m eighteen today,” Bill said, rolling over to lay nose to nose with Georg. “I’d always hoped that one birthday soon I would wake up with someone to tell me happy birthday just as I opened my eyes,” he said, smiling sleepily. “Thank you for that,” he added, earning a loving smile.

“You’re welcome.” Georg smiled. “It’s just such a hassle for me to see you in the morning,” he teased, making a dramatic face.

Bill giggled. “Shut up, you love me,” he said, sleepily slapping at Georg’s chest.

Georg took his hand and smiled. “I do,” he said, pulling Bill’s hand to his lips to kiss. “I love you so much,” he said, then bit his lip. “I have a surprise for you,” he said, and Bill looked excited.

“Did you get me a present?!” he asked excitedly.

Georg kissed him softly, making Bill hum. “Something like that,” he said, sliding his hand around Bill’s hip to pull him closer. “Tonight Franzsiska and Derek are coming over for dinner and you’ll get your surprise then,” he said.

Bill hummed leaning in for a kiss. “Can I have a ‘surprise’ now?” he asked, carefully shifting his leg to slip between Georg’s thighs.

Georg smirked and kissed him, sliding his hand down Bill’s back to cup his behind. “Maybe,” he said, carefully kissing Bill’s jaw teasingly as he squeezed Bill’s bottom. Bill giggled, only to turn and catch Georg’s lips, moaning as he carefully pushed Georg over, sliding his leg across Georg’s hips. He pressed closer, pressing his body flush to Georg’s side as they kissed.

Bill squeaked softly as Georg pushed them over, straddling Bill’s long, thin body. He kissed Bill, then kissed down his throat softly. He moved his knees to fit between Bill’s legs, kissing down his kiss in soft, measured touches. He loved how Bill’s skin over his tiny belly was so soft and silky. He always liked the way Bill made an adorable sound between a giggle and moan as he nibbled at the skin around his belly button. “Georg!” he cried, squealing slightly as Georg’s fingers danced teasingly up his thighs. “Georg, it tickles!” he laughed, tossing his head back as he grabbed some of Georg’s hair.

Georg, however, looked up, smirking. “Hmm, how about this-“ He moved his mouth lower, kissing along the base of his husband’s penis. He heard Bill whimper and smiled. Bill loved when he used his mouth. Georg had learned exactly what things Bill enjoyed when he used his mouth as well. Between Bill’s eagerness, his young age, and his just waking up mind, he reached his end quickly, releasing into Georg’s mouth as he cried out, panting and gasping the whole time.

Georg cringed as he swallowed, but crawled up, happy to meet Bill’s need for kisses and touching after his release. Bill was panting, back still arched and tight but moaned kissing Georg as fast as Georg came within range. “You,” Bill whimpered, sliding his hand down Georg’s back eagerly.

Georg just shook his head, kissing Bill softly. “I’ll get something better later,” he said, and Bill smirked.

“You seem confident I’m going to want to make love later,” he said pointedly.

Georg smirked, kissing him again. “You will, I know you,” he said, and Bill giggled but nodded.

“I guess I am rarely not in the mood to make love,” he admitted, then smiled as he curled into Georg’s arms. “It’s because you’re so irresistible,” he teased, earning a loving smile from Georg.

Georg just kissed him. “I was hoping it’s because you love me,” he said, and Bill giggled, nodding.

“And there’s that.”
