Because there are never enough places or ways for me to declare my undying love for Blaine Anderson
I could ramble on about my love for Blaine for HOURS. Literal hours. I could meta for you until the cows come home, but instead I am just going to let Darren's beautiful face, his lovely acting, and the wonder of Blaine Anderson speak for itself in this small picspam.
ETA: I lied, I'm gonna meta a little first.
To those who complained that this is a step backward, back to Mentor!Blaine - this isn't a failure. This is a *return* to the most true Blaine. Brad is the only one who understands Blaine holistically. One of the reasons this episode was so wonderful is because we saw a return of the Blaine we first met and fell in love with.
Just because he's protective and wanting to share his knowledge does not make him not interested in Kurt. In fact, I think in ways it can be seen as WAY more than Boyfriend!Blaine ever did. Can I just say, I hate the distinction between Mentor!Blaine and Boyfriend!Blaine? Because *real people* don't fit into these characterizations, real people are multi-faceted. And the best thing about Blaine and Kurt is that they are the most real people and relationship on the show.
Ryan and Ian both brought out interesting facets about Blaine, but like I said, Brad is the only one who really understands him.
You don't go to talk to your ~friends parent about sex. This meant so much more. And Brad would not have gone to the trouble to set up Kurt's emphasis on romance and juxtapose it with Burt's speech about how Kurt needs to respect himself and not become a slut - because we know Kurt's only shot at sex right now is Blaine and K&B would NEVER use each other like that. K&B are the "use it as a way to show someone you care about them" type.
I am 300% sure Kurt & Blaine will become a couple after this episode.
