Less than motivated
Mom's in town. Haven't been writing as much as I'd like. I'm not TOO behind, because I set myself up for having a few days this month when I wouldn't be writing, but I can tell that it's going to be a little harder to get into the swing of writing 2000 words per day at the beginning of the week.
I've also reached a place in the story where it's getting a little difficult to write. Mostly, something changed midway through the last chapter that I totally didn't notice. I was going to have Gwynn coming with kids, but I guess I just forgot, or it didn't make as much sense that way so I cut it out while writing it. But now, there clearly need to be more people in order for everything to progress in the kind of out-of-control way it's supposed to do, but writing more characters in is getting annoying. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Maybe I'll just skip a few pages ahead and come back to the whole "this is how they got here" part... I'm not sure. Or maybe I should jump ahead farther...? But at this point, I'm not sure I want to do as much temporal shifting as I did in the first couple chapters. I'm thinking it will get a little more schizophrenic again near the end. Anyway.
