i've had that happen to friends of mine. suddenly they had boyfriends/girlfriends and were just so occupied with them and with being in a relationship, that they forgot there's an actual WORLD happening outside their little pink bubble. and maybe that's just me but i never was like that with my (now ex)boyfriend.
i just really can't help it. i look at everything from all angles and analyse things into bits and pieces.
so i think the getting down on one knee part, that was clearly just trying to be funny, putting on an act for the crowd. to me he looked really out of place there anyway, with these flowers in his hand and just shoving them at her. all that's missing was him saying, "it wasn't my idea, the voices made me do it!"
and i'm sure frankie takes advantage of him always doing as she says. because which other guy in his right mind would do that? (oh i forgot, no guy in his right mind would date her :D) but i just don't get it. i would get bored if the guy i'm dating would jump to my orders. cos hi, women carry their own bags these days and stuff like that. not like she's weak, she can carry presley just fine! (okay yes, i AM overly mean now. but i'm not apologising)
frankie needs to go. end of story. she's like. the yoko ono of mcfly. not saying doug is john lennon but. she is yoko ono. the one who butts in on everything and has more saying than his bandmembers.
yeah, 'no regrets' is pretty dark, i agree. i had actual problems writing it sometimes cos i kept thinking 'the fuck am i doing to them?' but in the end i'm just really proud of the outcome.
