poor douglet *pats* but we all have days like those and i think we need them to appreciate the good days more :)

this had me smiling so much because i could all see it happen, in front of my eyes, especially whiny!dougie just sitting there, shoulders slumped ranting about his shit day. it felt very authentic.

and harry. harry. he can't be mad at dougie, at all (thankfully!) and i love how simple and easy everything between them is, how they can be mad at each other and not talk and it's still okay, at the end of the day (or the week ;-)), how they don't need big words or anything.

and the quote. so much ♥ you win at life.

actually, it was the quote that kind of inspired the story. i wanted to write something where dougie says it to harry and i guess i just worked backwards from there.
