Click to viewThis is one of my brother's best friends Lance. He won the academy award for writing the screenplay for MILK. All the fancy parties I've been going to have been for him, and he's one of the nicest guys ever who really worked his ass off for this movie. It was amazing to see him win this, because this definitely wasn't an easy movie to make and have released into our overly christian, ignorant and conservative country. It's inspiring to see people like this fight against the odds and social norms for what they believe in, because you just don't see too much of that nowdays. Just thought I'd share that.
