The week is finally over. Classes are done and break has officially began. She will still have her hands full with her 4 Hearts business and her duties as an Ambassador for the Isle, but for now, school is one less thing for her to worry about. Besides all she really wanted to do was relax and she knew just the person she wanted to be with.

Evie greeted everyone as she hurried down the hall. With luck the other girl would still be in her room. Up ahead she spied Gil exiting the room, the brutish blonde closing the door as gently as possible.

“Evie!” He boomed, shoulders drawing up immediately as he glanced back at the door. Gil smiled sheepishly, softly repeating her name. “Uma’s taking a nap.”

“Perfect,” Evie returns his smile, “Carlos is in the kitchen,” she offers with a gentle pat on the shoulder and a quick kiss to his cheek; sending him on his way before she enters the room.

Only one of the three beds is occupied. Harry, no doubt, was off tormenting Jay as he’s taken to lately. A mischievous smile comes to the girls’ lips. She’d have to talk to Uma and discuss some matters about getting those two boys together. For now though, she has more important matters to deal with.

Evie stops at the foot of the bed and admires her girlfriend. Uma lies face down on the mattress, her arms tightly secured around the pillow beneath her head in some sort of death grip. Her braids spilled all around her, adding to the beauty on the bed. Warmth spread over the blue haired girl. Uma always looked so peaceful while she slept, without a care in the world.

“Take a picture,” the sleepwary voice broke through Evie’s thoughts.

A giggle slipped through ruby lips as Evie crawled up to lie beside Uma. The beautiful sea witch’s head turned to face her, one eye cracking open.

“Hey,” Evie greets, hair falling from her shoulder as she leans closer.

Uma watches in silence, a smile just barely playing on her lips before closing the eye, returning Evie’s greeting with a grunt. The princess retaliates with a poke to the exposed skin on Uma’s hip, her top riding up more as she tries to squirm away.

“Hades, can’t a girl get some sleep,” she teases, burying her head beneath her pillow.

Evie pouts, “aren’t you going to ask about my day?”

The pillow rises just slightly for dark eyes to peer out, “and how was your day, Princess?’

“Wonderful and even better now that I’m with you.”

Uma groans teasingly, dropping the pillow back over her head, “you are so cheesy.”

Evie giggles again as she lies down, using her arm as a pillow. “Only when I’m with you.”

She reaches out to take the other girl’s hand, pulling it free with little resistant and kissing the smooth skin. Uma’s head pokes out once more, resting on top of the pillow to stare at their interlocked hands. She doesn’t speak, then again she doesn’t have to. Uma simply gives her hand a gentle squeeze and Evie’s eyes are closed, waiting for sea witches kiss.

It’s short and sweet; the complete opposite of what some would say about Uma herself. It was everything Evie has learned the other girl to be and she loved every minute of it.

“Sleep now?” Uma asks as she slowly pulls away.

Another giggle slips from Evie’s lips, “yes, sleep for now.”

Uma grins, turning the girl around with a surprising amount of strength and pulling her closer. With Evie’s back pressed flush against her chest, the sea witches face eagerly buried into the loose blue locks.

Evie kisses the palm of Uma’s hand, interlocking their fingers once more.

All she could wish for was for them to stay like this forever.
