Little Attention Seeker
Evan sighed as he pressed deeper in the couch, head thrown back and glaring up at the ceiling. The only noise in the room was the distinct sound of Chris’ pen against his note book and the occasion burst of sound that slipped from the older man when he sang under his breath. He loved to listen to Chris sing, really he did, but he had way too much energy inside him at the moment. If he didn’t burn it up soon, Evan was a little more than sure he was going to go insane.
“Chris,” Evan tried to call the man, knowing Chris was in his own little world whenever he wrote songs. The blonde hummed in response, but Evan wasn’t sure if it was for him or another try at finding the right beat for the song. “Chris, can we do something?”
The blond haired man nodded in response though he did nothing but continue to right notes in his note book. Evan puffed out his cheeks in announce and glared at the older man, who continued to ignore his existence. Shooting up from his sit on the couch, Evan stomped away pausing just before he retreated upstairs. Head turning back towards the living room, Evan smiled. He wasn’t going to be ignored, not for much longer.
Without another word, Evan slowly slid onto Chris’ lap, the older man pausing to look at the younger boy. “Evs, what are you doing?”
Evan pouted his hands on either side of the blondes’ face, “You aren’t paying any attention to me…so I’m going to take it. The song writing can wait, but I’m not going to wait forever just so you’ll look at me.”
Chris chuckled, pen and notebook forgotten as he slid his arms around Evan’s waist, pulling the younger man closer, “baby I’m always paying attention to you.” Evan rolled his eyes, opening his mouth to reply, only for Chris to cover it with his own. His eyes shut at the sensation, relishing the feel of his boyfriends’ lips.
All too soon Chris had pulled away, a sly smile on his lips as he looked over Evan’s body hungrily. “But if it’s attention that you want, I’ll give you attention.” He quickly nipped at Evan’s chin before swinging the younger man up in his arms.
“I think I’ve changed my mind,” Evan laughed as Chris’ fingers danced on his side.
“To late,” Chris replied, hurrying up the stairs to their bedroom. All activities and calls were forgotten and ignored for the night.
End.
