Feeling Safe.
The days were as hectic as ever. It seemed like an endless routine-- wake up, go to school, work and fight one demon of another. It was enough to make anyone want to tear their hair out and hope everything would just go away. But she got used it. She would never change the way her life has gone. Sure it wasn’t the best considering she had lost both parents at such a young age. But Kino Makoto had gained things to make up for that.
She had friends who cared for her more than anything else in this world. They looked out for her just as she went out of her way to protect them. They made her feel whole and she was glad for them.
Than there was Seiya, a senshi from the planet Kinmoku who had come to Earth along with his siblings in search of their lost princess. He was a small reprieve from the hectic days. It was a wonderful feeling to know that she could return to him and rest soundly in his arms. He made her feel at peace and that was exactly what she needed most during these hectic times.
"Are you still up Mako-chan?" He muttered, pushing away some hair from her face.
She made a soft content sound as her hand came to rest on his chest, "Yeah, I am. I was just thinking."
He shifted slightly, taking the hand on his chest and bringing it to his lips, "Of what?"
"How peaceful this is." She answered, kissing the side of his neck.
Seiya chuckled, holding her as close as possible against him. He fall asleep quickly as Makoto wrapped her arms around his waist content with the feelings she felt.
