Shopping wasn't really fun when Brooke had a hell of a lot of bags to carry. The brunette was stuggling as she walked, bags of all different shapes and colors being carried in her small hands. The shopping had been greatly reduced from everyday to once a week but with everything she purchased it didn't really seem like she was following that plan. ( Read more... )

I am out again, just walking. There's a woman coming toward me and she is not faring very well. At home, any lady with so much shopping to do would certainly have it sent to her home or at least a servant or two to carry things. That is not so here but I was not doing anything in particular.

"Excuse me, my lady. My name is Faramir of Gondor and I was wondering if I might offer you some assistance?"

Hopefully, she is not the sort to be insulted. It's not that she can't carry it all on her own, since she currently is. It would simply be better if she had help.

Brooke wished she had servants. That would make things a hell of a lot easier on her part but since she didn't she had to do this on her own. Then, like a call from up above somewhere was there to offer their help. She listened to help. A smile coming to those velvet lips.

"Wow. That's just amazing. You asking me if I need help when I'm kinda struggling with everything. Yeah." Brooke handed over almost all the bags she was carrying. Faramir looked like a very strong man so she figured he could handle a lot. "I'm Brooke. Just another girl stuck in this place."

I think... The tone could be sarcastic but I'll put it down to her frustration at having to carry everything on her own. There really is quite a lot of... whatever she has bought. It's not too heavy, just bulky.

"It is good to meet you, Brooke. It seems an opportune moment." I do not mind helping.

"Where are we heading?"

Let me guess, mallrat who uses the word like way too frequently, spends any money she gets, and listens to 'cool' bands such as Fall Out Boy. Maybe she's perfect, maybe not. Hard to tell. Either way, she's taking up the whole sidewalk.

I feel like I'm looking at Joanne.

Maybe I'm judgemental...or maybe I've just lost my mind.

I just give a slight smile and walk around.

Brooke had that whole moment where she had to try and get out of this girl's way without running her bags into her and dropping everything. That was just a no-no and Brooke wouldn't have it. A sigh of frustration was released as the girl made up her mind and finally moved around her. "Geez." It was mostly Brooke's fault because of her shopping disease but did Brooke care?

Nope.

I stopped when she dropped all the bags. That sucks.

Ok. Fine. I'll help. I'll be an outstanding citizen.

"Help?"

Only a few bags were dropped, Brooke sighed and bent down to collect what she could while the other girl did the same. 'Cause you know, it was kind and everything and if it was reverse she would probably do the same.

Well, maybe.

"Yeah, sure."
