A New Companion (OTA)
Ever since the 'days of anger', as Martin has come to think of them, he has been withdrawn. A Do Not Disturb sign has been on his door non-stop and he's been out as little as possible. His bruises and split lip from his encounter with Khan have healed, the emotional wound of being left by the pet that had picked him in the first place, however, hasn't. He misses Cat, though they never got along all that well. His room seems too big for just himself. He's been lonely but at the same time didn't feel like talking to anyone.
But now, after some internal debating, he has decided to find himself a new pet and has gone to the animal shelter. Here he found a young calico kitten that immediately stole his heart. Thankfully the kitten seems to like Martin, too! Unfortunately it doesn't have a name yet and Martin is bad at coming up with them, but this time he wants to get it right, so he doesn't rush the decision.
As he walks back towards the hotel, trying to keep the curious kitten from escaping his arms, his mood has significantly improved. But then, who could resist such cuteness?
