"Well, well, well.... look what the cat dragged back." Meg said as she sauntered up to the bar casually and leaned her back against it.

"See? Now I know I'm in hell if you're here." Dean raised his shot glass and downed in a gulp. "Let me guess, you decided to align yourself with Crowley's bitch of a mom and came to say hi."

[ooc: Feel free to have Meg 'feel' the Mark of Cain that he has if you want.]

Meg raised an interested eyebrow at his words. Crowley's mom was in the picture now? That would probably prove an interesting turn of events.

"Not as exciting as that thing on your arm." Meg retorted as she look down at his arm.

She could practically feel the power there, but she hid how nervous it made her feel.

Dean clenched and unclenched his fingers, feeling the mark, even more since the fight with Cain. He wasn't about to tell her that the Assblade wasn't with him.

"Like the new tattoo?"

"I think you must have been pretty desperate to take that bad boy on." Meg answered.

She knew the amount of power that thing carried. It scared her to death.

"But it does make you look like a bad ass so I guess you can pick up more chicks now." She said slyly.

"Always seeing the bright side." Dean said with not a subtle hint of sarcasm. But he had to admit that Meg had helped a hell of a lot (no pun intended) with Cas and the tablets.

"Yeah, well, maybe Angel Boy is growing on me a bit." She said. "He's here, you know. I'm sure he'll be glad to see you."

Meg rolled her eyes and added, "He was walking around like a sad puppy since your disappearance from here."

"Cas? Is here?" The hell if this was where he hid the Assblade and then yoinked him here, Dean was going to be pissed. He blithely ignore the part that he'd been there before.

"He'll be tickled pink to know you're here." She confirmed with slight amusement in her sarcastic voice. "I'm surprised he hasn't already swooped in and bear hugged you."

Dean glanced around as if Cas would suddenly appear. There was the best of times, worst of times expression on his face at the thought of seeing Cas in whatever purgatory he'd landed himself in.

"He's the only one that could get away with a bear hug without getting shot." Well him and Sam and Krissy and Charli. Okay, there might be a few more but that was it.

"Aw," She said with a insincere frown. "Are you saying you don't want one from me? I'm hurt, Dean."

Meg placed her hand on her chest for dramatic effect.

"Oh I'll take a hug from you, Meg." Dean smirked. "I'll even make it a bear hug." Of course he'd have to douse his shirt in holy water first.

"Somehow I think I'm better off passing, but thanks." She said with an overly sweet smile and an eye-wink.

Meg paused as she looked Dean over.

"Can you at least tell me some good news." She said. "Like how Crowley is dead or at least overly miserable."

Dean thought of Crowley's mother and smirked, "yeah he's not dead but his life is hell. Well you know what I mean."

"At least something's not entirely messed up." She said with actual relief on the edge of her voice. "Though if you could kill him, that'd be a lot better."

It was tempting actually, but with Crowley's help from time to time.... the devil you know - so to speak.

"Yeah? If I did, who would you want to take his place?" He watched her carefully in her answer.
