Fresh Fall Day (ota, gentle tag to Gabriel)
Anna finished her morning shift serving Mexican to customers who were mostly hung over from the night before. Sundays didn't seem to have the same sort of 'early to bed' in the village as it back home, it seemed. After showering so she didn't smell of chimichangas and nachos, she put on a blue dress with a small white cardigan and headed out. She planned to stop by the general store to see what kind of costumes they had for Halloween and pick up something from the bakery for dessert, but her first stop was at the church.
It was a little unexpected, but Anna found she no longer felt out of place there. She wished Chuck was still around, but today she decided to help. One of the people who worked here had mentioned they were doing a clean up day and so Anna decided to help. She was out in the yard with a rake. Fall had come to Haurvatat and with it, the changing of the leaves. They were pretty, but they were also everywhere on the ground right now.
