As soon as the lights flickered, Catherine knew that she'd made a mistake in getting into the elevator. When the car came to a grinding halt just seconds after the lights went out and the emergency lights came on she huffed out a breath. "Great." Catherine reached in for the in wall phone and .... silence, not even a dial tone. "Shit." Then she got the bright idea of using her messenger. She was able to send out a message to all - Stuck in elevator in hotel. At least she hoped she did but the bars were really low and Catherine wasn't sure any of it went out.

Frustrated, she kicked the elevator door and then really cussed as she hopped on one foot. "Son of a bitch." Not the best idea she'd ever had. Once the pain subsided, Catherine tried to figure out how she could stand on the little hand rail to reach the ceiling tiles.

Yeah, next time she was definitely taking the stairs.
