Need to know more (OTA, gentle nudge to library staff)
Christopher has been around the village a couple of times now and though he saw and sensed curious and fascinating things (and beings he doesn't yet fully comprehend), he's no closer to figuring out how to return to where and when he needs to be.
So where do you find knowledge? In books, as he well knows, having both written and published books. And where do you find books? In the library, so that is where he is now, browsing along the shelves, trying to find anything that might give him an idea of what is going on and how to reverse it. He walks slowly and quietly, the fingers of his right hand just ghosting along the shelves, barely touching.
A librarian, to help him track down relevant books would also be an option, so he's keeping his senses sharp and an eye out for such a person as well.
