Red wasn't a superstitious person at all so the fact that it was Friday the 13th she could care less about. What she did care about was the pull of the moon. Attracted by the music (and the sign offering free samples didn't hurt), Blind Mag entered the shop.

While the weather was nice, the clouds overhead threatened rain. Mag chose to wear her cloak over her dress as she wandered through the village.

"Hello," she said as she spied Ruby in the shop.

Ruby's warm smile of welcome, widened further when she saw the cloak. It was nice to see something from home, even if the woman wasn't.

"Hi. Welcome to Tron's. Would you like to try a sample?"

"Yes, please," Mag said with an answering smile. "My name is Mag," she introduced herself.

"I'm Ruby but everyone calls me Red." She walked with her toward the sample area. "I decided to try some new ideas for the shop. There's wrap sandwiches over there, salad sandwiches are here and different kinds of salads here. The only thing I ask is be honest. If it needs something let me know and if it tastes horrible let me know that, too."

She paused, "um there aren't nuts in anything so you don't have to worry about nut allergies."

"That all looks good," Kili enthused, coming closer. He wondered if she'd smell the aftershave he bought. After all, Oliver had told him how much to put on and he'd thought more was better.

Even if Ruby hadn't had sensitive senses, she would have smelled the aftershave. But her expression didn't change beyond her smile widening.

"Thanks, I thought I'd keep busy before the moon. You smell nice."

He did?! Oh, Kili felt his shoulders broaden and he smiled too. "Can I help?" he asked. He thought he would never tire of just being near her.

"Of course. I never turn down help from you." She slid her fingers with his and walked with him back to behind the counter.

"I thought I'd try a wrap sandwich next."
