Castiel was glad to see that things had settled down here in the village again. The dinosaurs had been gone for about week, and he hadn't been female in well over a month- though, really, there didn't seem to be many repercussions, and he may have actually enjoyed himself just a little in the end. He wasn't sure if Axl would ever come back for

Snap seemed to be working fine, for everything apart from getting him outside the village, but for jumping himself about within it's limits, he was fine. It also meant, now he had tracked his baby-bro down, if Castiel tried to gank him he could avoid it.
So he appeared, on the bench, legs stretched out and arms folded over the back. "You are a pretty tricky one to find, aren't you?" He said, glancing down at Castiel's feet and making a face. "Ew, what are you, sixty?"

Castiel stared at his brother, wide-eyed and shocked. He hadn't seen him since the angel took Sam and Dean into that fake game show, and though he knew his brother was killed by Lucifer and that he had given Dean and Sam information about trapping him, he still didn't know what had actually happened between the two of them.
"Gabriel?" He thought most days he was pretty easy to find, but he did leave Angel Radio off every now and again.
*[[It was probably an Archangel thing as Cas didn't know Lucifer was here for a while either.]]

Gabriel Had always enjoyed causing a stir and there was no time he loved it more than when people couldn't fathom a reaction. Right now Castiel looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights. It was almost impossible to keep a straight face, but Gabriel was going to try and keep this going as long as he could. The surprise in Castiel's face was just priceless.
"There I was thinking you were just ignoring my emails. Did you even know about my party?" He asked accusingly. There was no party of course, but he liked to tease Castiel and make him feel bad if he could. Okay, it was cruel, but so what?

"You're- party?" That got a headtilt from the angel. "I don't check my messenger often, if people need me they usually just call my name."
Castiel liked to think he was a protector of the humans and other creatures that resided here, so someone getting past him made him think that perhaps he was spending too much time seeking pleasure. "How long have you been here?"
[[It's okay! Posting on mobile is the worst haha. When I'm out working I don't even bother with mobile posts, so I'm pretty slow with tagging at times.]]

"Yes, my party. I got here, set up a barbecue, some beers, some great desserts and you didn't come." He tried to look hurt, but couldn't. "I'm messing with you. I haven't thrown a party. Not yet."
He shifted, making himself more comfortable on the hard wooden bench, before giving up and clicking his fingers- turning the bench into a comfortable modern couch.
"Oh, a couple of days. Finding my feet. Making sure previous me didn't leave any kids here, that sort of thing."

"Different versions of me have been here a few times too, but I don't remember it." Now was not the time to ask Gabriel about angels like Naomi, though he thought that might be why he didn't remember.
There were a lot of people he could thank in helping him become less robotic-soldier and more... well, Cas. Some had unfortunately left this place already.
The bench changing barely phased him. "I think a previous version of me was here when you were. Or so I'm told." Castiel shrugged, setting down the knitting needles.

"Balth and I had a drink. He said your BBFs were here somewhere. I'm surprised this place isn't falling down around our ears."

"Sam came back again recently, and Dean... well, I don't think either of them are looking for a way out now. I'm okay being where I am." He knew that things continued to go downhill once he was back home again anyway. "Did Balthazar tell you that there are others here? Demons too. Smiting them is off limits." Especially Meg.

"Sounds like you all got old and boring to me." Gabriel said, disappointed tone in his voice. Some great-ass heroes they were, if they retired at the first chance they got.
"Yeah yeah, demons, vamps, all the fun of the freak show." Gabriel said, "And I'm sorry, I don't go in for the smitey-smitey. I'm out of that game remember? Self-employed?" He reminded. He wasn't interested in demons. Some of them were sort of fun, they certainly shared his sense of humour in some cases.
"Hey Cas?" He said, after a long pause, his voice less mocking, less, well, Trickster, and more brother. "Can I ask you something?"

He blinked and looked over at Gabriel, raising a brow. Gabriel sounding serious didn't happen often. "What is it?"

But then he waves that away, he doesn't want to know, and frankly he was being stupid. Although knowing the Winchesters are still on the job makes him want to laugh. A cute blonde would way-lay them in half a minute.
Instead he shuffles, sitting up properly in his seat and half-turning towards Castiel, to look at him properly. "Do you... do you know what happened when I met up with Luci? Luigi and Mario were there too."

He had been too busy recovering from banishing himself away while those angels had attacked him.

"I need you to ask Deano. Or Gigantuar. About what happened after." He stopped again, a little uncomfortable. "Don't worry. It's not important." Lies, of course. It was important, but Castiel was not the right person to ask.
"What do you do for fun here? Aside from wearing girl's underwear, sandals and knitting? Man Cas, what happened to you?"
Reply
You're aware that Lucifer is here, right?" Cas didn't understand what Gabe was referring to, but it seemed like it must be important.
"I know that... that you don't make it. Lucifer kills you." Gabriel had been most likely standing up for Dean and Sam, but to what extent he didn't know. "What is it you want to know?" He's not letting you off the hook that easily, Gabe.

He didn't much feel like sharing with Castiel either. But too late now.
"I know. I know what happened there." Gabriel explained. He had felt himself dying, felt the last of his Grace leaving him on that floor, before he'd opened his eyes and been here.
He took a breath. "It was... mentioned. By a nephilim boy I met. He said Luci was here." He shrugged, because there was nothing more to be said about that. What could he do, anyway? It was done and dusted back there.

"I know the boy you mentioned. Aaron, he said he used to work for you."
