Ellen's mood is light and airy as she sits in the park and watches Alissa playing with some school kids. Ellen's not sure it could technically be called playing, but the girl is trying and it's endearing to watch. She wonders if this is how it would look had her children had to grow up too.
She has a water bottle, but it's not filled with water. It's Gin and Tonic and it's quite refreshing in the afternoon heat. She knows she should probably not be drinking in public like this, but it's a good way to pass the time. She also has a book beside her: Fifty Shades of Grey. It's not a great book so far, but Ellen's only read the first few pages.
