Kamekona was enjoying the thawed out weather. It wasn't the best weather, but at least it wasn't snowing and it wasn't cold. Winter sucked - Hawaii had the right idea. No winter, just sun all the time

Pfft lines were not for Ares. He materialized in the small truck next to the cooking area in a sparkle before reaching over to pluck one of the shrimp off. Heat didn't phase him either.
Ares popped another shrimp in his mouth and chewed. "I'll have to tell Poseidon about this. Your family wouldn't have Greek blood does it?" He didn't think so but he'd learned not to judge by looking in the village.

Kamekona did not know who Ares was, though his friend Max probably would. Kamekona greeted Ares with a friendly, toothy grin.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Kamekona... though you probably already know that on account of the truck." Although a couple of shrimp trucks back home had names that didn't relate to the person running it.
"So you're a fan of Apollo and Demeter or whoever you worship for sun and harvest." The weather was always perfect on Olympus so he didn't really pay attention to what it was like for mortals.
"Not bad." High praise from the god of war.

He gestured to the shrimp he was cooking. "Yeah make it a double and make it extra spicy." Ares liked things hot.

"Best part... probably the weather. Always nice, even in the winter. Food. That's a close second." Kamekona liked his food.
