And he missed all the fun! (OTA to those who can hear him pounding on his door)

Didn't it just figure?! Frank, being locked away like a fairytale princess with no one to rescue him, and he'd missed all the fun! Oh, he'd heard the screaming, heard all the fracas, but could he join in? Savor all the madness?! NO. Somehow his door was locked and he couldn't get out. His pout was mega-watted and he was very dismayed ( Read more... )

Draco had to admit that he thought Charles was an idiot for giving him access to Frank.* At first, anyway. Then he realized just how much trust the man was putting in him by doing so. Well played, Charles. Well played.

Of course that didn't mean Draco wasn't going to have his fun with Frank.

"Frank, darling, is that you?" he cooed.

Frank went still; head cocked. Who was that? "... hello?" he asked, feet resting against the door.

"It's Draco. Are you all right?" he asked, grinning.

"Draco!" Frank shrieked, moving quickly to press his cheek to the door. "Have you come to rescue me?!"

Draco nearly laughed. The audacity!

"Rescue you from what, exactly?"

"But can't you tell?!" Wasn't it obvious?! "I'm trapped! Inprisoned!"

"Oh. Is that all?" Draco tsked. "Poor thing. Let's see what I can do."

He didn't know what sort of magic was being used to keep Frank locked up, but he'd been told that he had access. So he tried the door knob.

The door opened, knocking Frank upside the head. "Yowch!" he cried, rubbing his head.

But he was free! Wasn't he?!

So, so far from free.

"Ah! Hello, Frank," said the cat to the mouse. Draco sincerely hoped that Frank would try to run. Perhaps there was a barrier in place - at the very least he would see come slapstick humor.

He wouldn't try to run yet! After all, his savior was here!

"Draco!" Frank threw himself at his friend. "Thank you so much for coming for me. I feared I would waste away in here, all by myself."

Merlin, it would be so easy to just snap his damn neck - but no! He promised Charles.

"Are you sure you were locked in?" he asked. "All I did was turn the knob."

"Well, yes." After all, Frank had tried incessantly. Then ... less incessantly.

Anyway. He pouted, leaning back to look at Draco. "Either way, let's go, shall we? We can have some nice tea ... " He moved toward the doorway. Freedom ... sweet freedom!

"Tea, sure." Tea could fix a lot of things, but not everything... "Can I ask you question first?"

"Mmmm?" Frank said, still fixated on the doorway, hips swinging as he walked.

Draco smiled. "Were you hoping that I wouldn't find out about you trying to torture and kill someone under my club - without my permission by the way - or did you think I'm really that stupid?"

"Mmmm?" Frank came to a stop, hand on his chest as he slowly twisted his upper body to look at Draco with a mix of wariness and feigned innocence. "I wasn't trying to kill anyone .... "

Not directly. Of course, had it happened as a side effect....
