Paris held onto his arm as he made his way toward the village's clinic. He had managed to wrap it up with a scarf he was wearing, but it was still bleeding through. He could not believe that insane woman at the grocery store. She flew off into a frenzy about the gods only know what, telling off the poor cashier. But she didn't stop there, she purposefully cut herself on her hand then latched onto his arm with her sharp teeth. Paris yanked away to escape, but she held on tight. He ended up having to pull her away by force. It was crazy.
When he started in on her for biting him, she took her bloodied hand and smeared it into his wound and laughed. At that point, all Paris wanted to do was get away from her. He left the grocery store and the items in his cart behind.
He stopped reminiscing as he turned the corner and found the entrance to the clinic to be full, seemed he was not the only one with an injury. With a sigh, he debated whether or not to go inside and wait. His arm throbbed in pain, what choice did he really have? Not to mention his head was beginning to ache.
