Buffy had learned long ago that she could do more with the help of others than by herself. Sure, she bossed people around and was the General in a lot of ways with the others that helped both in Sunnydale and other places but she knew as she stood at the entrance to the lobby and looked into the ballroom, that this wouldn't have been pulled off without that said help.
The
lobby was decorated seasonally with a
large gingerbread house to one side. The
entrance way into the ball room was lighted festively with
glittering silver and blue large ornaments just inside the ballroom.
With large thanks to Kilrenko and her friend, the
ice sculptures looked great. They weren't just figures from Earth but from other worlds, too. Buffy smiled when she stepped inside the room and noticed the kids area. There was a small version of a
bounce house that they could play in while the adults danced. They even had their own
treat table.
The adults, on the other hand, had a fully stocked bar as well as circling waiters to bring wine and champagne. And a food spread dotted around the ice sculptures. All in all Buffy was pleased with the outcome.
