Even workaholics need to get out (OTA)
Bella had spent entirely too much time cooped up inside lately, so this was her making a concerted effort to get out. Maybe not to socialize, given that she was sitting in a shady spot in the park and reading a favorite novel, but at least to get out. She hated disappointing her family, and she especially hated disappointing Renesmee, who always gave her a sadface whenever she caught Bella spending too much time at work. Which, really, was at least once a week.
Bella was more than happy with her situation at the moment, though. Nice evening, good book, possibility of interaction with people. She could live with that.
Smiling faintly to herself, Bella settled back against a tree and propping her book up against her knees. Tucking a lock of hair back behind one ear, she turned her attention back to the page.
