Not a Walk in the Park [OTA]

Jul 02, 2013 02:50

Anna had a cup of pralines ice cream that she was eating out of with a spoon as she walked through the park. It was a nice day and she decided to take advantage of it on her day off. She wasn't athletic, but she didn't want to be stuck in doors and so Anna took a walk. It was easier to ignore the nagging feeling she sometimes felt about the past events that had just recently happened. She'd like to believe that nothing would come of it, but then again, it was Lucifer.

She came up to the lake and smiled at the small family of ducks that seemed to have forsaken the duck pong and Ira and were swimming in the lake instead. Anna glanced down at her ice cream and wished that she had chosen a cone so she could give some of it to the ducks. Instead, she crouched as she watched the mother lead around her ducklings. It was a good analogy for Angels, she thought.

Anna stood back up to continue to walk. She took a bite of her ice cream and that was when she felt an overwhelming headache take over. It was like the Angels were panicking. The ice cream dropped to the grass and Anna grabbed the sides of her head as her eyes shut. Something was wrong - very wrong. She felt hot tears form and an overwheliming sense of sadness came over her. And then, just as it came on, it was over. Complete silence.

She was able to stand up straighter after a moment and she looked lost. Something was wrong. Something was very wrong.
