The rain had been falling for days it seemed, and while Kit hadn't really noticed too much at first (too caught up in his writing), he was noticing today. The dreariness seemed to seep into his soul. Oliver had been in the cave that he'd been using as his version of his hideout in Starling city practicing his aim with arrows and working out. It hadn't been until he'd shot four tennis balls into the cave wall at once that he'd begun to hear the strains of a viola.

He moved to the entrance, setting his bow against the wall and stepped out into the forest cover to follow the sound. It took a minute to get the bearings from the wind direction until he finally found a lone figure under a tree playing the song.

Kit was tuned in to the sounds in the forest as much as his music, aware with that sixth sense mages had and long practice in his other profession. He finished the phrase he was on, bringing the song to a simple close, then glanced up at the man, taking him in with his mismatched eyes--the right brighter than the left.

Oliver paused seeing his mismatched eyes but it wasn't like he hadn't seen anything unusual in the village.

"Hi. Sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt you. That was really nice."

Kit smiled a little and inclined his head. "No apologies necessary. And thank you. Archaic, I know." Honestly, he could use the distraction from his thoughts.
