Before he does something stupid ... (tag anyone at The Sin)

Andrej had not been to the village's service house in some time. There had been ladies enough that there had not been a need. But Anne of Cleves was different. Despite her having been married, Andrej was not certain she had experience of physical intimacy. He had not asked her of course - could not ask her - but he had read histories of Henry ( Read more... )

Draco wasn't supposed to be at The Sin this weekend, but that did not mean he stopped being the man in charge. When there was a problem, it had to be handled. Draco was very good at solving problems, especially the the violently disruptive sorts.

The wizard entered the main lounge area, his ace looking like the calm after a storm. The good-looking woman behind the bar saw him and instantly began pouring him a glass of wine.

Draco noticed Andrej, but grabbed the wine before heading over to him to say hello. "Evening, your...Excellency," he said, remembering the honorific. "I don't believe we've had the pleasure of your company here before."

Andrej was surprised to see Draco. The young man was a wizard; why would he spend his time managing a service house? That was not Andrej's brief and so he pushed it aside.

"I have here been, but not recently. Not since good Robert St. Clare had charge. But I would some relaxation take and with company. Feminine company." Andrej was not certain exactly what to say. "You will excuse me, Mr. Draco, if I am unsure what to say under the circumstances. Under Jurisdiction my Chief of Security made my arrangements and with Robert there was no need. I am not certain if there is a file of my ... preferences."

Because he had an array of valuable talents and assets - he was very good for the brothel. However the jury was out on if the brothel was good for Draco.

"Ah, I see. Can I offer you a drink to start?" he asked, and sat himself at one of the cushy stools at the beautiful cherry wood bar. "Some clients find it easier to say what they really want under the influence of alcohol. We have a very lovely wine today."

Andrej smiled. "It would take a great deal of wine, Mr. Draco. It is not that I do not know what I want, it is that I do not know how arrangements are made. I know you have a VIP suite that is quite adequate as I have used it before. And I have not yet bathed. Other than that," Andrej shrugged, "I do not know how to explain. I do not a meal require this evening."

Andrej did not wish to embarrass his eventual partner or himself. "Good Robert was able to send a lady without further elaboration but he ... knows my interests. I would not have a lady unwilling. Or delicate physically. I am Aznir." Draco probably did not know this. Then Andrej realized that Draco would not know what it meant, either. "That is to say, the Aznir, indeed all Dolgorukij, are much stronger than we appear. I would not hurt the lady."

Draco nodded. "Understood. I am pleased to say that all of my employees are here of their own free will," he said. "We've just upgraded our VIP suites with color therapy palettes - you can have your choice of red, blue, green, yellow, purple, or white. Would you prefer a lady waiting for you after you bathe?"

"I am partial to bright colors, Mr. Draco. Any bright color that will match the complexion of the lady you select. If she is dark of eye, hair, skin, or all, I will be even more pleased. Especially if she is tall. If she also wishes to bathe, I can wait for her. I would appreciate some wine or wodac and some sort of edible that we might enjoy together. Sweets perhaps, or something more sustaining if she has not eaten. Am I adequately specific?"

Draco smiled. "Yes, I believe so. I'm sure word of your desires is spreading as I speak - I do not choose for clients; interested candidates will meet with one another and decide amongst themselves," he said, and swirled the wine around in his glass. "I will leave the refreshments up to her if needed - some of my employees enjoy including such things in building the experience. Is this agreeable to you?"

"Very much so," Andrej said. He was pleased. To the extent it was possible under the circumstances, the lady would have a choice. "Perhaps I will then have a drink, to give the ladies some minutes to confer." He could be sent to his bath, he supposed, but then the room would not match the lady's coloring. As if that mattered.

Andrej looked toward his security. They seemed slightly uncomfortable. Andrej never understood. Under Bench watch, they would themselves have a suite near his to dine, relax, or take recreation as they chose. That was one of the reasons Andrej visited service houses so often; it allowed his bonds as much freedom as they ever could have. Andrej himself often merely enjoyed a bath and massage in the quiet of his suite. But Andrej was certain his local security would refuse such an offer if he suggested it. Strange.

"I'm sure that if we don't have a specific drink, we have something similar," he said, and followed Andrej's gaze. "The same goes for your security team, of course."

'Same' being a broad suggestion.

"There was wodac before, when good Robert had management. If not, vodka is acceptable. Your best." Of course.

Andrej's security shook their heads. They would not drink on duty either. Andrej found this strange as well. Bonds could and did drink but never to excess. Their governor would not allow it.

Andrej waited for a decision to be made. The release of tension would do him good.

Draco grinned his business man grin. "Of course. We may have a bottle or two around yet."

Only a few minutes passed before one of the many attractive women of the the Sin came over to murmur in Draco ear.

"Appears matters have been settled already," he said as she left. "I'll send that bottle to your room while you bathe, and your companion will take care of the rest."

Andrej bowed slightly in Draco's direction. "Thank you, Mr. Draco." He waited to be shown to his suite and bathing area.

"You are quite welcome," he said, and took his drink with him as he stood. Normally, Draco would grab a passing employee to escort a guest to their room, but Andrej was a VIP after all.

He led the man through a door to a simple, cream-colored hallway where the cherry-wood doors sported elegant name plaques. "The Purple Room has been chosen for you this evening," he said, stopping front of the door at the end of the hall on the left. "I do hope you enjoy yourself."
